In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, assisting them in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their quality of life. Your work will involve fostering independence and promoting dignity for those in your care, ensuring they receive the necessary support in a safe and nurturing environment.
Case Detials Shifts:
Monday
  • Friday 6:15 am
  • 8:18 am and 3:00 pm
  • 7:00 pm. Saturday 12:00 pm
  • 4:00 pm.
Male client Duties Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, organizing, and meal preparation. Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met in a respectful manner. Engage the client in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and personal development accordingly. Support the individual in the home and within the community Administer CPR and first aid when necessary Requirements 1 year of experience working in a private home or in a group setting as a DSP or home health aide First Aid and CPR Certified 1 year of experience working with people with disabilities, elderly, and special needs 1 year of experience working with individuals with emotional and behavioral disorders Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality Ability to assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) effectively Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Reliable transportation Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, and lift at least 20 lbs
