Available shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5pm-8pm Sunday 10am

• 3pm We are looking for a skilled DSP to work 1 to 1 with a male individual
• Comfortable assisting client in and out of wheelchair
• Hand over hand assistance for ADL's
• Experience feeding
• Medication administration
• No aggressive behavior

Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
• Support individual in developing and maintaining social skills and relationships
• Ensure the rights and dignity of individuals are respected and upheld

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges preferred
• Must have knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and be comfortable with applying behavior support (managing aggression/self-injury, elopement)
• Ability to drive and possess a valid driver's license
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills This position requires compassion, patience, and the ability to adapt to different situations.
