$22.00 per hour About the Role We are seeking an active, sociable Community-Based DSP to support a high-functioning adult man (40) with autism/IDD in Monmouth County.

This is a companionship-and-community role:

you will join him on outings he genuinely enjoys, bowling, shopping, dining out, and day trips to Six Flags; helping him stay engaged, social, and independent in his community. The schedule is flexible and built around his part-time job. Key Responsibilities Accompany the client on community outings: bowling, shopping, dining out, and trips to Six Flags (the farthest destination, all other activities are local) Provide companionship and active social engagement during outings Transport the client using your own vehicle Coordinate the weekly schedule (~10 hours) around the client's part-time work hours Support the client's independence and community participation Required Qualifications Own reliable vehicle Valid driver's license with a good driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with autism and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) An active, outgoing personality, someone who genuinely enjoys these outings (the client loves Six Flags) Compensation & Benefits $22.00 per hour Activity costs handled: Six Flags admission covered; bowling at a special rate; dinner outings optional Flexible weekday schedule (~10 hours/week)
