The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with disabilities, dementia, or requiring hospice care. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and well-being of clients. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space to promote a safe environment. Document care provided in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring their safety at all times. Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs as required. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or home health aide roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and vital sign monitoring is beneficial. Experience in hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of dementia care practices will be advantageous for providing specialized support. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
