Weekend-Only Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Weekend-Only Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with developmental disabilities at our all-female supported living home in Rio Rancho, NM. Work Location 1178 Fascination St NE Rio Rancho, NM 87144

Required Schedule Saturday:

3pm-11pm

Sunday:

3pm-11pm Every weekend is required for this position. Additional Opportunities Optional on-call shifts may be available Ability to pick up additional shifts during the week when call-ins or coverage needs arise Responsibilities Daily Living Support Assist residents with hygiene, grooming, meals, dressing, and medication prompts Support cooking, cleaning, laundry, and organization within the home Help maintain a clean, structured, and respectful environment Medication Support & Administration Assist with medication administration in accordance with agency policy and training Follow medication schedules and documentation requirements Monitor and report any medication-related concerns Ensure medication support is handled safely, accurately, and professionally Behavioral & Emotional Support Provide calm, supportive, and professional care Use approved behavioral support and redirection strategies when needed Encourage independence and positive routines Community & Transportation Support Assist with outings, appointments, errands, and activities as needed Promote engagement and community involvement Health, Safety & Documentation Monitor for changes in mood, behavior, or health Complete daily documentation, logs, and incident reports accurately Follow all safety procedures and agency policies Professionalism & Teamwork Communicate clearly with leadership and coworkers Maintain confidentiality in accordance with DDSD and HIPAA guidelines Attend required trainings and follow program expectations Requirements Must be able to work every Saturday and Sunday Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check Reliable transportation required Dependable, patient, professional, and team-oriented Experience in caregiving, DSP work, or medication administration preferred but not required What We're Looking For Someone who: Shows up consistently and follows through Works well with a team Communicates respectfully and professionally Has patience, compassion, and strong judgment Is willing to support the home wherever needed Ready to Join Our Team?
