Job Description
Position Overview S. Johnson Home Care Assistance LLC is seeking an experienced, compassionate, dependable Home Health Aide/Caregiver to provide high-quality non-medical support to clients. We are looking for candidates with a demonstrated history of professional caregiving, home care, personal care, or similar hands-on care experience. The ideal candidate is compassionate and patient while also being dependable, professional, attentive to client needs, and able to follow the client's established care plan and directives from agency leadership. Responsibilities Depending on the client's authorized care needs, responsibilities may include: Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care. Provide companionship and supportive supervision. Assist with mobility and other approved non-medical care needs. Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks as appropriate. Follow established client service plans and agency procedures. Observe and appropriately report changes or concerns involving the client. Maintain accurate documentation as required. Protect client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality. Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and agency leadership. Follow scheduling, attendance, safety, and communication procedures. Follow directives provided by agency leadership within the scope of the position. Qualifications Previous professional caregiving, home health aide, personal care, or closely related experience is required. Demonstrated ability to provide dependable and compassionate care. Ability to follow care plans, agency procedures, and leadership directives . Professional and respectful communication skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries. Ability to maintain client confidentiality. Willingness to complete required onboarding, training, background screening, and other applicable agency requirements before client placement.
