  • Pay is based on experience We are a high-end dog training and boarding facility committed to providing exceptional care, structure, and training for every dog that comes through our doors.
We are looking for an experienced Dog Care Team Leader who is passionate about dog behavior, thrives in a leadership role, and enjoys working in a hands-on environment. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and able to lead a team while ensuring every dog receives the highest level of care and attention. Responsibilities Create detailed, structured daily schedules based on each dog's individual needs, training plans, play groups, and available staffing. Lead and mentor team members, ensuring consistent handling techniques and high standards of care. Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to the team. Coordinate daily staff assignments and assist with employee scheduling. Monitor dog behavior and make informed decisions to ensure a safe and positive environment. Work hands-on with dogs, including handling, feeding, exercising, administering basic care, and supporting training programs. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary facility. Communicate effectively with management and coworkers to ensure smooth daily operations. Solve problems quickly and adapt to the changing needs of the facility throughout the day. Qualifications Strong knowledge of dog behavior and body language. Leadership experience in a boarding kennel, dog daycare, training facility, veterinary practice, or similar animal care environment preferred. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, professional, and self-motivated. Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds. Able to perform the physical demands of the job. Schedule:
