Community Based Services is a non-profit organization providing services to people with disabilities in the Hudson Valley and Capital Regions. A DSP position offers:
Between $19.00 - $22/Hour Pay is based on Experience and Education. Work close to where you live in the Hudson Valley region Your hobbies and interests can provide support to individuals with disabilities to truly create a rewarding career.
DSP Job Description:
Are you energetic, caring, positive, willing to share your hobbies & interests, and compassionate Play an integral role in the lives of the people we support by providing direct assistance in all aspects of daily living. Community Based Services is a non-profit organization providing supports to people in the Hudson Valley region since 1981.
DSP Duties and Responsibilities:
Tasks could include providing direct personal care or assistance with: hygiene, housekeeping, laundry, cooking, medication administration and appointments, behavioral interventions, etc. Enabling the greatest level of independence possible and the best quality of life as one is able to experience. Engage participation in recreation, social, and skill-building activities as appropriate. Complete documentation electronically as required.
DSP Qualifications/Skills:
HS/GED Valid driver's license for more than 1 year
