ProFound Care | Cortlandt Manor, NY $20-$22/hour Overview ProFound Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Cortlandt Manor, NY. We offer flexible scheduling with opportunities to build consistent, ongoing hours based on your availability and performance. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or supplemental hours, we have shifts available across the week. While shifts are available throughout the week, evening, overnight, and weekend availability offers the strongest opportunity for consistent scheduling. Scheduling & Expectations We offer flexibility in scheduling; however: Staff are expected to commit to the shifts they accept and maintain consistency week to week. Reliable staff are prioritized for ongoing schedules and preferred placements. What We Offer Flexible scheduling with consistent opportunities Full-time and part-time roles available Long-term, stable placements for dependable staff Paid training and certifications Transportation support for select shifts Opportunities for additional hours based on availability Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals with IDD by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Bathing/showering — washing, hygiene Dressing — selecting and putting on appropriate clothing Toileting — using the bathroom, continence management Transferring/mobility — moving from bed to chair, walking, positioning Eating/feeding — getting food from plate to mouth, chewing, swallowing Personal hygiene — brushing teeth, grooming, nail care Support behavioral, emotional, and social development Follow individualized care and behavior plans Maintain a safe, structured environment Complete documentation accurately and on time Qualifications Preferred past experience as a PCA, HHA, or Direct Support Professional (DSP). High school diploma or GED required Experience with caregiving, children, or IDD preferred Must pass background checks Patient, dependable, and compassionate No certifications?
