- Full-time Working as a Home Health Aide (HHA) offers the unique opportunity to build meaningful, one-on-one relationships with patients while helping them remain safe and independent in the comfort of their own homes.
Scheduling:
Monday- Friday, 8 to 430, rotating weeknds and holidays
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/ GED required Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Must hold a valid Home Health Aide Certificate of Completion issued by an approved NYS Department of Health program or have already completed the Signature Care Home Health Aide training program. A valid NYS Drivers License with a safe driving record is required. Current auto insuranceSUMMARY:
To provide personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping assistance to clients. Must maintain proper documentation .RESPONSIBLITIES
Provide personal care (e.g., bathing) per care plan Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of assistive devices (including Hoyer lift) Support range of motion exercises and prosthetic application Prepare meals, including special diets Maintain a clean and safe home environment (light housekeeping, laundry, shopping) Observe and report changes in condition to the nurse Respond to household emergencies per protocol Attend required in-services (12 hours annually) Adhere to dress code and maintain reliable attendance Float to alternate care settings as needed Perform all duties outlined in the care planEssential Functions:
Sufficient hand strength and dexterity to perform care duties Ability to kneel, squat, and bend without support Lift/move up to 40 lbs. unassisted; push/pull/transfer up to 100 lbs. Normal hearing and corrected vision (20/40) Able to document and maintain accurate records Climb two flights of stairs and access worksites in a timely manner Reliable attendance and punctuality Must be reachable for work assignments Salary Range- $18.
