Immediate Openings for Certified HHAs & PCAs in the Hempstead Area! Are you a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) looking for steady hours close to home? Our agency has an immediate need for reliable, compassionate caregivers to service our volume of VA and DSS cases right here in central and western Nassau County. If you want to work for an agency that respects your time, pays reliably, and keeps your commute short, we want to meet you!
PLEASE NOTE
This listing is for daily hourly shifts located strictly in Nassau County, Long Island. We do not have cases in NYC (Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx) or Westchester.
What We Offer:
Competitive Pay:
$21.32/hr (inclusive of base pay and full Long Island wage parity benefits). Work Close to
Home:
Cases centered around Hempstead, Uniondale, West Hempstead, and Garden City.
Flexible Scheduling:
Day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend hours are available immediately.
Guaranteed Hours:
High-volume caseloads from our VA and DSS contracts mean steady income for you.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist local seniors with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing). Provide companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Maintain clear communication with our coordination office.
Job Requirements:
Valid New York State HHA or PCA Certificate. Up-to-date physical and PPD/Quantiferon (within the last 12 months) + Rubella/Rubeola immunizations.
Local Commute:
Must reside in Nassau County or have a reliable means of transit to get to cases in the Hempstead area daily. Reliable, professional, and punctual. Don't waste your time commuting into the city. Work local and make a difference in your own community. Apply today for an immediate interview!
