We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, including those with autism, seniors, and individuals requiring assistance with activities of daily living. Your role will involve working closely with clients in their homes or community settings to ensure their well-being and quality of life.

Duties:

• Provide personalized care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including but not limited to autism, seniors, and individuals requiring assistance.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Implement behavior management techniques to support clients in achieving their goals and maintaining a safe environment.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
• Offer transportation services as needed, including driving clients to appointments or community outings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and any incidents that occur during care provision.

Experience:

• Previous experience in patient care, home care, or caregiving roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or seniors is a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding towards clients with diverse needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for this position.
