Full-time with day, evening and weekend shifts available
Salary :
$20.00 Sign On Bonus-up to $1,000

Holidays About ACHIEVE's Residence Program :
In the residential program, the most caring people are the trained staff who provide 24-hour supervision, care, and guidance to residents. They assist with personal care needs, cleaning, cooking, medications, and activities. The Direct Support Professional - Residential provides self-care training and assistance in daily living to individuals with developmental disabilities residing in a group home setting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provides individualized care as outlined in the individuals Life Plan, or ISP. Assists Individuals in the primary activities of daily living (toileting, feeding, cooking, cleaning) as outlined in individual's ISP to promote independence. Maintains files and produces service notes and documentation on assigned caseload. Documents and submits reports to the program as outlined in the assigned department. Model appropriate social skills to assist the individual in developing and maintaining relationships in the home and in the community Assists Individuals in the development of natural supports within the community. Attends all established or assigned in-services and web-based training. Provides First Aid, CPR, and SCIP-R as needed. Uses behavior management techniques as directed in the individual behavior plans and/or medication monitoring plans. Give medications as prescribed by physician, per OPWDD regulations
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; Valid NYS driver's license and 12 months driving history. Six months to one-year related experience and or training preferred.
