We are looking to add a caring, passionate, service-oriented individual to our team helping our clients' with developmental disabilities live a happy fulfilling life. If you don't have experience, no problem. We are looking for a team member with the right attitude and a willingness to learn. If you fit this description and you would like to work with a company that is equally passionate about helping people with disabilities then OneBridge Center would like to talk with you about joining our team. This overnight shift for one individual. This is an awake shift.
Hours:
Sunday 9 pm-6 am Tuesday 9 pm-6 am Thursday 9 pm- 6 amResponsibilities:
Provide homemaker services 3 nights a week. Homemaker/Personal care staff should perform such tasks assisting the individuals with activities of daily living, skill development, personal hygiene, and dressing. The DSP may also perform homemaking tasks for the individuals only. These tasks may include meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Basic personal care and grooming, including bathing, care of the hair, and assistance with clothing. Some individuals need assistance with bowel requirements or problems, including helping the individuals to and from the bathroom, or assisting the individuals with bed pan routines Performing household chores essential to the individuals health and comfort in the home (e.g.. necessary changing of bed linens or rearranging of furniture to enable the individuals to move about more easily in his/her home) Assessing, monitoring, and supervising the individuals to ensure the individuals s safety, health, and welfare. All house cleaning tasks in all areas of the home during the shift. Communicate ongoing support/care to staff, and family members. Document services online in our software. Assist clients with toileting. Requirements- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Energetic, Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Able to communicate effectively with all parties involved.
- Must be a licensed driver with 4 points or less. Must have a reliable vehicle with automobile insurance. (No SR 22 or FR bonds). Please DO NOT apply if you don't meet this requirement.
- Must be able to successfully pass background checks and drug test.
