Role Overview:
As a Direct Support Professional at Homewatch CareGivers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as seniors. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure that each client receives the support they need to live safely and independently in their homes and communities. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of those you care for while working on-site in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support to clients, assisting with daily living activities. Implement individualized care plans developed in collaboration with family and healthcare professionals. Promote client independence and dignity through compassionate support and encouragement. Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and care provided. Collaborate with the care team to ensure the highest quality of care and support for clients.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English. Compassionate and patient demeanor in providing care. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of clients. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus.
Bonus If You:
Have a certification in CPR or First Aid. Possess knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices. Have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Full-Time or Part-Time position available from Monday through Sunday.
Location:
This position is on-site only in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, approximately 40 minutes from Athens.
