Full Time DSPs:

We are in a beautiful historic setting in the wide open beauty of north west Ohio. We are located 3 miles south of Bellevue Ohio, in the gorgeous Seneca county countryside! For you history buffs who love working for a legacy, we are located on the site of the old Ebenezer Orphanage that opened following the Civil War. Do you love helping people succeed in life? You get to work in the field of developmental disabilities and we will pay you as you train! You choose if you would like to pay yourself up to 4 times in a two-week period rather than wait for the bi-weekly paycheck. (especially helpful through the holiday season!) Rate of pay is $18.00 an hour and as mentioned, we train you in this career as you get paid! Any hours you work on the weekend has an added $1.00 an hour! (

RE:

Shift Diff, we consider weekends = Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays) which brings your rate to $19.00 an hour during those shifts! If you choose to pick up extra shifts, any hours you work in excess of 40 hours in a week is paid at one and a half times your rate of pay! Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting
• Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected and upheld
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and community involvement
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
• Implement and follow individualized care plans for each resident
• Document and report any changes in residents' condition or behavior
• Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents to promote socialization and community integration

Experience:

• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a similar caregiving role is preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus

• This position requires you have a valid OH drivers license with less than 6 pts currently on it.

It also requires that your drivers license has no more than 2 moving violations. You must also have been a licensed driver for a minimum of 3 years. Do you meet all of these requirements?

Physical Job requirements:

Exerting/lifting/carrying 25 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 lbs. of force frequently, or 10 to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Walking up and down stairs.
