In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. Whether assisting with daily activities or supporting community engagement, your efforts will foster a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and empowered. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop rewarding relationships while gaining valuable experience in residential and home care settings. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support clients with memory care strategies for conditions like Alzheimer's and dementia, ensuring safety and comfort Administer medication following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate documentation Facilitate engaging activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall wellness Operate standard passenger vehicles safely for client outings or appointments in compliance with traffic laws Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling to prevent injury during transfers or repositioning Requirements Prior experience working with DODD clients Certification in CPR and First Aid; training is provided if you do have one Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively Strong communication skills to engage clients respectfully and collaborate with team members Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe vehicle operation Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Reliable transportation Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate caregiving!
