What You'll Actually Be Doing As a Direct Support Professional, you will: Provide hands-on support with daily living (hygiene, meals, housekeeping) Support individuals in the community (appointments, activities, outings) Help individuals build independence and life skills Maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment Follow individualized care plans and document services provided Reality of the Role This position includes: Personal care (including bathing, toileting, hygiene) Working nights and weekends, regularly Supporting individuals through challenging behaviors If you are not comfortable with these responsibilities, please do not apply. Basic Requirements:

High school diploma or GED Valid driver's licensereliable transportation Ability to pass background check (required in Ohio DSP roles) Willingness to complete required training (CPR/First Aid, DSP training)
