Direct Support Professional Job Summary Location:
Georgetown, Ohio Shifts:
2nd & 3rd Shift We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professional Duties
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with community inclusion by providing supports in the community.
  • Providing transportation
  • Administer medication under the direction of a nurse or healthcare professional
  • Help with meal preparation and household tasks
  • Monitor and report changes in the individual's condition to the healthcare team
  • Implement care plans and follow established protocols for patient care DSP Skills
  • Experience working with people with I/DD.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and procedures
  • Ability to provide direct support and assistance to individuals in need
