Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, where your dedication and caring nature will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. This role offers an energizing opportunity to provide personalized care in home and community settings, supporting clients to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. You will be a vital part of a team committed to enhancing quality of life through attentive, respectful, and professional caregiving. All positions are paid, reflecting the value of your skills and compassion. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient observations, vital signs, and overall health status to ensure safety and well-being Administer medications and manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for accurate record-keeping and medical documentation Utilize medical terminology appropriately when documenting patient information or communicating with healthcare professionals Employ assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or catheters safely during patient transfers or care routines Prepare nutritious meals, assist with cooking, laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a clean living environment Support safe mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs; assist with transfers and positioning Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Skills Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health status promptly Experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation and compliance Ability to assist with ADLs efficiently while maintaining client dignity and independence Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or in hospice care settings CPR certification and training in catheter care or other specialized medical procedures preferred Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and family members Compassionate caregiving approach combined with strong organizational skills for managing multiple responsibilities Join us in delivering exceptional home health care that transforms lives!
