Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide exceptional care and support to residents in a community setting. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their independence. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach to caregiving, making a positive impact on the lives of those they serve. This position offers day and afternoon shifts, providing flexibility and stability for your work schedule. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health status by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care provided, update resident records accurately, and communicate effectively with team members about residents' progress Requirements Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer's disease, or dementia is desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred for community-based care responsibilities Join our team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve! From $17.00 per hour
