Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medication and document accordingly
  • Drive individuals to appointments and community activities
  • Implement behavior management plans as directed by the supervisor
  • Lift and transfer individuals using proper techniques and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the individuals
  • Respect and uphold the rights of each individual
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • First aid and CPR certification preferred

You will be responsible for providing compassionate care, administering medication, driving individuals to appointments and activities, implementing behavior management plans, lifting and transferring individuals using proper techniques and equipment, maintaining a clean living environment, and upholding the rights of each individual. To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance, ability to pass a background check, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
