8/15 About the role We are seeking a reliable, patient, and caring Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support to a young adult (Male) with a developmental disability in his home and community. What you'll do Provide direct, one-on-one supervision and support to ensure health and safety at all times Support and encourage independence, communication, and decision-making Help with community activities — outings, errands, appointments, recreation, and social connection Support daily routines, structure, and positive behavioral strategies Plan and Keep young adult occupied with activities at home and community Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks related to his care Help plan some functional living lesson plans on Young Adult's IPAD and try to make him job ready.
