Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with autism, and those requiring long-term care. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), medication administration, meal preparation, and ensuring their overall well-being.Duties:
- Assist individuals with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Provide support in a nursing home or long-term care setting
- Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements
- Engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
- Perform lifting tasks as needed to assist clients with mobility
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in ADLs and medication administration protocols
- Ability to handle lifting and physically demanding tasks
