Job Description

RMS of Ohio:
Northeast Region (Cleveland Area) RMS is a family of companies that has one focus — helping individuals with disabilities get more out of life. Currently, we seeking experienced, compassionate and dedicated direct support professionals for various homes on the west-side of Cleveland and surrounding suburbs. These are full-time positions that requires some weekends and flexibility in order to effectively manage your assigned site/sites. We work exclusively for adults with I/DD living community based housings. Openings for
DSP and Lead DSP:
RMS has openings for regular DSP positions and Lead DSP positions. We have openings for full & part-time positions. Day and nightime openings. One weekend shift required every weekend. DSP
  • $16.85 to $17.85 per hour. Lead DSP

85 per hour. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) will assist adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Our individuals need assistance in their homes with chores, hygiene, and general upkeep of the home. Also, getting out in the community for groceries, banking and recreational activities. Lead DSP are caregivers who are more flexible, organized and a self-starter with good leadership qualities. Current CPR/FA, Medication Administration is a plus, however we will offer training to the selected candidates.
Position Overview:
Our Support Associates (DSPs) are responsible for providing supervision, support and assistance to consumers (individuals) as prescribed within the Individual Service Plan/Individual Program Plan to increase independence and quality of life. We are in need of experienced, compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals for our Northeast region (Cleveland metro area).
Position Requirements:
Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required. The preferred candidate should be flexible, organized, and a self-starter with good Leadership qualities. Current CPR/FA, Medication Administration is a plus, however we will offer training to the selected candidates. A High School diploma or GED is preferred. Current valid driver's license and automobile insurance meeting Ohio's minimum standards. Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
