$16.00 per hour Job description: Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide (HHA), where your compassion and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients receiving care in their homes. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals with diverse needs, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life. Whether supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, your efforts will foster a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work closely with patients and their families while utilizing your caregiving expertise in a supportive setting. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patient conditions, including vital signs and overall health status Administer medication and perform basic medical procedures like catheter care and wound management under supervision Support patients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies Document patient interactions accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed Provide light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with care plans Requirements Proven experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Nursing Assistant, or in assisted living or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and medical documentation practices Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications like hospice care or Hoyer lift training are a plus Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent patient observation skills Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or memory impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia is highly desirable Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping and documentation Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Join us in providing compassionate home health services that empower individuals to live safely and comfortably at home.
