Certified Home Health Aide Stigler, OK Part-time Part-time We are hiring for a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to complete Aide visits primarily in nursing home facilities. The HHA assists patients in the home setting with personal care needs including bathing, grooming, and dressing to ensure patients safety during personal care time. The HHA is a vital member of the patient's care team and assists patients in their times of recovery and strength building. Responsibilities and Duties Accurately taking and recording blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Wears gloves when performing direct patient care or having direct contact with patient. Demonstrates proper hand washing techniques. Understands body mechanics to prevent injury to self and/or patient. Proper positioning of patients. Demonstrates proper techniques to giving patient bed bath. Knowledgeable about preventing pressure sores. Able to properly shampoo patient's hair. Demonstrates ability to provide special foot care to patient. Demonstrates ability to provide nail care to patient. Demonstrates ability to properly shave patient. Administers patient back rub as needed. Patient denture care. Making patient bed. Provides proper skin care. Promotes patient independence. Safely ambulates patient. Assists patient with tub or shower bath. Perform range of motion exercises as ordered. Assists patient in use of crutches, walkers, and canes. Qualifications and Skills Oklahoma Certification for Home Health Aide (must be current and in good standing) - This is mandatory. CPR Certification Must be willing to do visits in nursing home facilities. Compensation & Benefits $18 per visit Per mile mileage reimbursement Benefit package available for full-time employees
