In this energetic and rewarding role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to residents. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help foster a safe, supportive atmosphere where residents can thrive. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and assist residents with meal consumption as needed Support clients during activities and social events to promote engagement and community involvement Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks in accordance with health standards Document care activities, client progress, and incident reports meticulously Assist with transportation for appointments or community outings, ensuring safety during transit using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Collaborate with team members, medical providers, and family members to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs Provide emotional support and companionship to foster trust, dignity, and independence among clients Follow all safety procedures including CPR and first aid protocols in emergency situations such as falls or medical crises Skills Effective communication skills for working collaboratively with healthcare teams and family members Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently Compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience in challenging situations Join us in making a positive impact every day!
