Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) support individuals with intellectual and development disabilities to lead self-directed lives and actively participate and thrive in our community. DSPs support with household chores like cleaning and meal preparation, support personal health routines, provide and support community access, and help the people we support explore hobbies and interests while developing life skills. Each relationship is different. Each day is unique. But the opportunity for personal fulfillment is consistent. We are currently hiring for Full-Time swing shift and Relief on-call (no set weekly hours) staff. Full-Time swing shift works around 40 hours per week. One weekend shift Saturday or Sunday) is generally required. Benefits are available the first of the month after 60 days. We are staffed 24/7, so if a recognized holiday falls on a regularly scheduled workday, staff will still be scheduled to work. Relief on-call staff may be scheduled weeks in advance to cover scheduled time-off, or with a few days notice, or with a few hours notice. Relief on-call staff need to be available to work a variety of shifts including days, swing, overnight, weekends, and holidays. Relief on-call staff must work a minimum of 20 hours per month to maintain employment. Mandatory team meetings must also be attended. DSPs learn, teach, explore, contribute, and discover every day. Qualified candidate must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and be able pass a state mandated background check. Strong communication skills (verbal and written), patience, empathy, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a strong work ethic are also required.
