The DSP assists individuals in developing and maintaining skills that promote independence, community inclusion, social engagement, health and safety, and overall quality of life. Responsibilities include supporting participants with meaningful activities, community access, personal goals, and daily living skills in accordance with each individual's Individual Support Plan (ISP). The DSP fosters a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment while ensuring services are delivered in a safe, supportive, and person-centered manner that honors individual choice, dignity, and self-determination.
