The position is responsible for the daily care, training, supervision and support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the general areas of Self-care, personal needs (hygiene, toileting, eating), Communication, Socialization, Community Participation, and other various activities of daily living, to promote the highest level of independence and self-sufficiency in order to achieve an everyday life.

Minimum requirements are:

Valid PA Driver's License, PA State Police Criminal History Record check within one year, FBI Criminial History Background check (if not a continuous resident of PA for the past three years). Pre-employment and Bi-Annual Physical and Tuberculin Skin Test. Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a healthcare, nursing or social services setting is preferred but not necessary. Additional Details
