Assists in planning meaningful developmental schedule for each adult that maximizes his/her potential from a personal, educational, and social viewpoint. 2. Assists in maintaining accurate daily records of individual client progress and develop comprehensive goal plans for each resident. 3. Maintains on-going contact with parents and significant others as to the general well-being of each adult in the program. 4. Supervises the individuals in preparing for bed and arising in the morning. 5. Administers medications to individuals after successful completion of required trainings. 6. Assists with transporting individuals to and from day programs, health appointments, and/or activities that may be necessary. 7. Assists and supervises in all household duties such as cleaning, general food preparation, sewing and care of linen and furnishings. 8. Assists and supervises other staff in the general maintenance and repair normally encountered in the residence, grounds, and equipment (e.g. snow removal, cutting the lawn, painting, and other fix-it jobs). 9. Assists in the daily maintenance of the company vehicle. 10. Checks doors, windows, locks, fire alarm and extinguishers, and other security and safety measures on an on-going basis. 11. Assists in supervising individuals in their work, recreation, and other activities. 12. Remains awake as shift determines in order to monitor the home and ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals. 13. Assists Program Specialist in scheduling, as needed or requested. 14. Completes required trainings, such as pre-service training, for all new staff and acquaints them with the program. 15. Completes and submits progress reports monthly, quarterly, or annually, as needed or requested. 16. Completes required paperwork as needed or assigned by the Program Specialist. 17. Informs the Program Specialist of employee issues within the Program.

: 1. Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ABILITIES NEEDED
: 1. Good interpersonal skills. 2. Work well in a team environment. 3. Able to maintain confidential information.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
: Regularly leads a team but does not formally supervise others on an ongoing basis. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); no prior experience needed; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and in small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
