Personal Care Assistant:
The Personal Care Assistant assists the nursing staff by providing direct resident care related to Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living Qualifications of Personal Care Assistant :
Caring, compassionate, and understanding Requires a high school diploma, GED diploma or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry 18 years of age or older Excellent customer service and hospitality skills Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) consistent with resident support plan by assisting residents with eating and drinking, transferring, toileting, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, turning and positioning, and documenting the care that was provided. Answers resident call bells for assistance ,prioritizing resident needs and addressing resident needs.
