Job Description

Job Summary must be 18+ to Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, where your dedication and caring nature will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. In this vital role, you will provide personalized in-home care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for clients across various stages of life and health conditions. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help promote independence and improve quality of life for those you serve. Weekly pay Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Monitor and observe patients' health status by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. Administer medications accurately following prescribed medical instructions while maintaining detailed medical documentation. Support clients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, hospice care, or developmental disabilities. Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices to ensure safe patient handling. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation aligned with nutritional guidelines. Document all patient interactions and medical records securely using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed effectively. Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community activities as needed. Experience Prior experience in home health care or assisted living environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions such as Alzheimer's or dementia. Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and vital signs monitoring. Experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities is advantageous. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications such as hospice care training or catheter care are a plus. Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
