Duties Assist an individual during activites time at a nursing facility. Document all care activities accurately in compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and facility policies. Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health is highly preferred. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism is advantageous. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications like medication administration or manual handling training are a plus. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities supports success in this role. Strong communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams respectfully and professionally.
