Home Health Aide

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role is vital in delivering high-quality care, particularly for those requiring hospice care, dementia care, or support for individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to healthcare professionals. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary. Support clients in engaging in daily activities and maintaining a routine. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and functional. Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to provide comprehensive care. Requirements Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or hospice care is preferred. Knowledge of medical documentation practices is a plus. Ability to assist individuals with dementia or developmental disabilities effectively. Strong observational skills to monitor patient conditions accurately. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Physical ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
