Job Description

Saint John XXIII Home is looking for a dedicated Personal Care Aide to uphold our mission of providing optimum care for our Residents.
Full-Time Day Shift Available Full-Time Afternoon Shift Available Full-Time Midnight Shift Available Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to Residents to improve or maintain the Residents abilities. Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and feeding of assigned Residents by providing set-up assistance, verbal prompts, and physical support. Assist with planning, implementation and evaluation of plans of care for assigned Residents. Record accurate, legible information about resident care and condition in appropriate sections of Residents records. Provide medications to Residents when assigned (After sufficient medication instruction provided upon hire).
Requirements:
Demonstrate knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of each Resident in all interactions. Understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality of Resident and facility information. Prior experience giving personal care to impaired individuals in a healthcare setting is preferred.
