$16.00/hr About the Role We're hiring a Direct Support Professional to provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a day program setting to live a more independent life. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll support individuals with social, emotional, and environmental support to help them achieve greater independence. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to ensuring that individuals are supported in a respectful and dignified manner. Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals participating in the day program Assist in training new staff to ensure consistent service delivery Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations and internal policies Administer medication and ensure proper documentation and tracking of all medications Encourage the development of life skills to promote independence Support indiviudals in participating in community activities and daily routines Required Qualifications At least 18 years old High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a good driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
