  • $22 per hour and progresses to $26.
50 per hour (w2 employment)

SUMMARY:
The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) position is a field employee position providing one-to-one and small group emotional support and behavioral interventions to children/adolescents in a school setting.
SCHEDULE
PCAs will work on all student days, full day, during the academic calendar year High School hours: 7:15am

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver tailored one-on-one and small group support to students with disabilities, helping them participate in classroom activities, manage behavioral interventions, manage personal care, and access to educational environment as it aligns with the student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). Implement timely interventions focusing on behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and enhancing peer interaction skills, according to the goals outlined in the IEP or positive behavioral support plan set by Special Education team. Gather daily data and maintain progress notes in the designated format for each session with the child or adolescent. Offer direct assistance to students to fulfill their academic, social, emotional, and/or personal care requirements. Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma OR equivalency Experience working with school aged children
