Job Description

We are seeking Males and Females who are dedicated and compassionate IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in assisted living or residential care environments, with a focus on enhancing quality of life through personalized assistance. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve by promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) Implement behavior management strategies tailored to individuals with cognitive disabilities. Prepare or assist residents during meal times to promote independence. Maintain accurate documentation using electronic systems and communicate effectively with teams. Drive when necessary using standard passenger cars for appointments or community outings, ensuring safety at all times. Skills Strong communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare professionals effectively. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments in home or community settings. additional training in behavior management plus.
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
