Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of personalized care. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to provide essential support in patients' homes and community settings, promoting independence, dignity, and comfort. As a dedicated caregiver, you will work closely with clients to meet their unique needs, ensuring they receive attentive, respectful, and professional care every day. Your efforts will directly contribute to improved health outcomes and emotional well-being for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to track health status Support medication administration following prescribed guidelines while maintaining accurate medical documentation Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments through tailored approaches like memory care techniques Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document patient information securely and efficiently Assist with catheter care, wound care, and hospice support as needed to ensure comfort and safety Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids to safely transfer clients and prevent injury Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding while adhering to dietary restrictions and medical instructions Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning Follow HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare privacy standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update care plans and report any changes in patient condition promptly Skills Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status quickly and accurately Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Knowledge of ADL assistance techniques including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Ability to perform CPR and handle emergency situations confidently Experience providing dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, hospice, or long-term care services Compassionate caregiving skills tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities of any kind Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and instructions Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
