Duties Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing behavior, and reporting changes promptly Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs while maintaining a clean and safe environment Use patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and proper manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility Assist with patient monitoring during activities, ensuring safety during outings or community engagement Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient progress, and incident reports in accordance with facility policies Skills Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes or home health environments Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders support Ability to perform patient observation, monitor vital signs, and recognize signs of distress or medical emergencies Skilled in assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and patient personal care assistance Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays including autism and intellectual disabilities support Competent in providing compassionate caregiving for seniors or individuals requiring long-term care or hospice services Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact through direct support work!
