Your compassionate approach and attention to detail will ensure clients receive respectful, personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and comfort. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing your skills in a rewarding healthcare setting. Responsibilities Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' conditions, recording vital signs and changes in health status accurately in electronic health record (EHR) or medical documentation systems Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality Support clients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice care, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices to promote safe mobility and hygiene Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with light cleaning, laundry, and home organization to maintain a safe living environment Document all patient interactions thoroughly in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Demonstrated experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions such as Alzheimer's or dementia Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to patient care, vital signs monitoring, medication management, and medical documentation Hands-on experience with medical equipment like Hoyer lifts and catheter care is highly desirable Familiarity with working within HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Experience providing long-term care or hospice support is a plus Valid CPR certification required; additional certifications such as first aid or specialized caregiving training are advantageous Join us to provide exceptional home health care that transforms lives through dedicated service.
