Job Description

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides direct support and assistance to individuals needing personal care services. This 36‑week contract is located in or near Pottstown, Pennsylvania and offers competitive hourly compensation up to $19 per hour. The role enables you to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Monitor clients' health and report changes to the care team Administer prescribed medications and document administration Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients Provide companionship and engage clients in activities Record observations and update care logs Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care Support clients with mobility and transfers Encourage clients' independence and self‑care Facilitate communication between clients and family members
