Candidates for this position must possess the ability to support clients in a safe and supported manner according to clinical recommendations and the Essential Lifestyle Plans. This unique opportunity offers an opportunity to lead and train fellow DSPs and assist with the operational needs of our Delaware County Homes. This position is a hybrid of Direct Care and Administrative Support Duties. The Administrative duties include but are not limited to conducting house meetings, medication administration practicum observations, Onsite orientation for both new hires and transfers, financial audits and assisting the Team Facilitator and Program Manager with operational support for all residential programs as needed. Excellent communication skills, high school diploma or its equivalent. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Candidates must be able to physically assist individuals, have a high energy level to support our clients' activities, be able to persuade and redirect behavior. Excellent organization, communication and leadership skills a must. Administrative experience a plus. Two-four years of experience working with Adults with Intellectual Disabilities is preferred.
