Job Overview At Gloria's Haven Home Care , we believe that every client deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in the place they call home. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (Non-Medical) to join our growing team. In this vital role, you'll provide essential daily living support that enhances our clients' independence and quality of life. Our clients include seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those in need of companionship and daily assistance. The ideal candidate will bring empathy, professionalism, and reliability to every interaction. Duties Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being. Support clients with mobility and safe transfers, including the use of assistive devices. Prepare and serve meals based on dietary needs and preferences. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to maintain a clean and safe environment. Remind clients to take medications (no administration required). Observe and report changes in client condition or concerns to the supervisor. Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all company policies and safety procedures. Engage clients in meaningful daily activities that encourage independence and comfort. Experience Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: Previous experience in caregiving, home care, assisted living, or a related field preferred. Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor. Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively. Excellent interpersonal and time management skills. Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable transportation; valid driver's license preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certification a plus. Knowledge of basic infection control and safety practices is helpful.
