Direct Support Staff:
(25-28 Hours)- York Area, We also have positions for: Harrisburg Area, Lancaster Area, We are the Torch Bearers in Central Pennsylvania's Behavioral Health, leading and inspiring others to their fullest potential.
Our services are Elite with our quality of care for the individuals and families we serve. We do this through our motto of "Passing Knowledge onto Others." Provide direct services to adults enrolled in the Adult Autism Waiver (AAW). This position supports individuals in developing skills, independence, and community participation in alignment with their approved service plans. Bachelor's Education (Social Work, Psychology, or Education) and prior intellectual disability, or autism experience is preferred. (but not required)
Responsibilities:
Provide direct Community Support services to individuals enrolled in the Adult Autism Waiver. Delivery of services in accordance with each participant's approved service plan and goals. Support skill development, independence, and community engagement. Maintain professional boundaries and follow Torch Elite policies and expectations. Communicate appropriately with supervisors regarding service delivery and concerns.
Documentation & Systems:
Complete direct service notes based on the established goals. Ensure notes are accurate, timely, and reflective of services provided. Submit a weekly timesheet of participant meetings. Use an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) to document service start and end times. Ensure EVV entries align with actual service delivery.
Compliance:
Follow Adult Autism Waiver (AAW) and Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) requirements. Adhere to documentation standards to support compliance and billing. Participate in required training and supervision meetings. Report incidents or concerns in accordance with agency procedures.
Training & Knowledge:
Willingness to learn Adult Autism Waiver service requirements. Ability to complete required onboarding and training. Basic understanding of service documentation expectations.

This role is a direct service position and does not include hiring or supervisory authority Torch Elite leadership provides onboarding, training, and oversight This position serves as a starting role requiring a high school diploma at minimum, but a preferred bachelor's level education.

Conditions of Employment:
This offer is contingent upon: Successful completion of background checks Verification of work eligibility Complete required orientation training, onboarding documents, and shadowing. The ODP orientation training process is expected to take no longer than 30 days from hire date, but it is strongly recommended to have it completed in two weeks from the hire date. The shadowing process is in conjunction with this training but would be contingent on the completion of the background check, driver's license, vehicle inspection date, and vehicle insurance and registration.

- (50% with Biweekly paycheck; Remaining 50% after 90 days): $20 / Hour
