Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing personalized care at home. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to patients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. Your dedication will help improve quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. This position offers an engaging environment where your caregiving skills are valued and your efforts directly impact well-being. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Personal Care (ADLs): Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Mobility Assistance:
Helping with transferring (bed to chair), repositioning to prevent bed sores, and walking.
Medication Management:
Providing medication
Reminders Household Support:
Performing light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, dishes) and changing bed linens.
Nutrition and Errands:
Planning/preparing meals according to dietary needs, grocery shopping, and running errands.
Companionship:
Providing social interaction, emotional support, and engaging in activities. Medication Reminders Only Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and perform safe transfer techniques to prevent injury Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Requirements (Preferred but not Required) Some knowledge of home making Knowledge of caregiving and exhibiting best practices for patients with disabilities Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments like Alzheimer's disease or dementia Ability to work independently in a home & community care environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion Strong communication skills for effective patient observation and collaboration with healthcare teams Join us if you're passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a supportive setting.
