Job Description
Therapeutic Intervention Services, PLLC is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Direct Support Professional Coordinator to support the agency's direct support services. This is a primarily work-from-home position with responsibility for provider recruitment and referrals, onboarding and orientation, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), Focus EMR documentation, Community Access quality assurance, billing-related remediation, and ongoing provider support. We are looking for someone who can manage multiple workflows, communicate clearly, solve problems effectively, and maintain a high standard of accuracy and follow-through. The Coordinator will work with a highly experienced and capable administrative team with substantial expertise in clinical services, Medicaid programs, quality assurance, billing, technology, compliance, and agency operations. Employees are expected to develop independence and expertise while also having ready access to knowledgeable colleagues who can provide guidance, answer difficult questions, and help solve problems when needed. Key Responsibilities Recruit Direct Support Professional (DSP) applicants. Provide successful applicants with thorough onboarding and training before initiation of services, including training on regulatory requirements and expectations of the position, agency policy, proper use of the Therap Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system , and Focus EMR . Manage referrals for CLS, Personal Assistance, Respite, Community Access, and other direct support services. Communicate with case managers and referral sources to obtain required information and coordinate referral status. Identify DSPs who may be interested in working with referrals and coordinate meet-and-greet meetings between potential service recipients and DSP providers. Manage the agency's Community Access referral process , including intake coordination and admissions review. Implement the agency's Community Access quality assurance program , including documentation review, provider coaching, corrective action, and follow-up. Manage the Therap EVV system on a daily basis by ensuring visits are entered and completed correctly, identifying visits requiring additional information, and providing DSPs with the documentation needed to resolve billing issues. Process Therap member-information and prior-authorization updates. Monitor DSP documentation and address complaints or service concerns. Provide additional training, coaching, or remediation when necessary. Maintain organized records and ensure timely communication with providers, case managers, individuals, guardians, and agency personnel. Experience and Qualifications We are seeking a candidate with relevant experience in Kentucky Medicaid waiver services and the ability to provide knowledgeable, effective support to Direct Support Professionals.
