Job Description
About the Role WESCO's Next Step Living Program is seeking a dependable and mission-driven Remote Support Professional (RSP) to provide remote support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role provides communication and support(s) according to individual service plans while ensuring safety, dignity, and independence. Responsibilities Provide remote and responsive support to individuals in supported living environments Document all interactions, incidents, and changes using agency software Communicate promptly with on-call supervisors when support issues arise Follow all agency policies, including confidentiality and safety procedures Support person-centered planning and self-advocacy Maintain professional communication with in-home staff Qualifications Previous experience in disability services, human services, or remote support preferred 18 years of age, or older Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient using computer-based monitoring tools Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout overnight hours Must pass background checks and training requirements
